Ashtavakra Gita [sanskrit]

Ashtavakra Gita is a Sanskrit text belonging to the Advaita Vedanta school of orthodox Indian philosophy, instructing the reader in some of the core concepts. Traditionally believed to be authored by sage Ashtavakra, it is presented in the form of a dialogue between him and Janaka, king of Mithila. Alternative titles: अष्टावक्रगीता, Aṣṭāvakragītā, Astavakragita, अष्टावक्र-गीता, Aṣṭāvakra-gītā.

मुक्तो यथास्थितिस्वस्थः कृतकर्तव्यनिर्वृतः ।
समः सर्वत्र वैतृष्ण्यान्न स्मरत्यकृतं कृतम् ॥ ९८ ॥

mukto yathāsthitisvasthaḥ kṛtakartavyanirvṛtaḥ |
samaḥ sarvatra vaitṛṣṇyānna smaratyakṛtaṃ kṛtam || 98 ||

The liberated man is self-possessed in all circumstances and free from the idea of “done” and “still to do”. He is the same wherever he is and without greed. He does not dwell on what he has done or not done.
