nityaṃ mandajvaro rūkṣaḥ śūnaḥ kṛcchreṇa sidhyati|| 8||

stabdhāṅgaḥ śleṣmabhūyiṣṭho bhavedvātabalāsakaḥ| haridrābhekavarṇābhastadvarṇaṃ yaḥ pramehati|| 9||
sa vai hāridrako nāma jvarabhedo'ntakaḥ smṛtaḥ| kaphavātau samau yasya hīnapittasya dehinaḥ|| 10||

tīkṣṇo yadi mando jāyate rātriko jvaraḥ| divākarāpītabale vyāyāmācca viśoṣite||11||
śarīre niyataṃ vātājjvaraḥ syātpūrvarātrikaḥ| āmāśaye yadā duṣṭe śleṣmapitte vyavasthite|| 12||

tadā'rddhaṃ śītalaṃ dehe tvarddhaṃ coṣṇaṃ prajāyate| kāye pittaṃ yadā duṣṭaṃ śleṣmā cānte vyavasthitaḥ|| 13||

uṣṇatvaṃ tena dehasya śītatvaṃ karapādayoḥ|" iti| khāraṇādinā tu śukrastha eva doṣe varjyatā pratyapādi| tathā ca tadgranthaḥ-"śukrasthe śukraviṇmokṣaḥ śvasan prāṇān vimokṣyati|" iti|
