basterviṣayamāha-vātolbaṇeṣviti| "bastinā dīyate bastiṃ pūrvamanvetyato bastiḥ|"ityuktaṃ saṅgrahe (sū. a. 28)| baste sarvopakramaśreṣṭhatvāmāha-uapakramāṇāmiti| saṅgrahe tu (sū. a. 28) - "śīghrasukhabṛṃhaṇādikāritvādvikṛtāniloccheditvācca| sukhatvādeva ca bastirbālavṛddhakṛśasthūlakṣīṇadhātvindriyeṣu ca strīṣu cānilopasargādaprajāsu kṛcchraprajāsu copadiśyate| tathā'gnibalavarṇamedhāsvarāyuḥ sukhaprado vayaḥsthā panaḥ paṅgurugṇabhagnastabdhasaṅkucitānilādhmānaśūlārocakodāvartaparikartikādiṣu hita iti|" iti| bastibhedānāha-trividhāstvati| saṅgrahe tu (sū. a. 28) - "tatrāsthāpanaṃ doṣadūṣyādyanusāreṇa nānādravyasaṃyogādinirvṛttam| tasya bhedāḥ,-utkleśanaṃ śodhanaṃ śamanaṃ lekhanaṃ bṛhaṇaṃ vājīkaraṇaṃ picchābastirmādhutailikamityādayaḥ| mādhutailikasya paryāyāḥ,yāpano yuktaratho doṣaharaḥ siddhabastiriti| teṣāṃ nāmabhireva ca svarūpamākhyātam| tadvayaḥsthā panāddoṣasthāpanādvā āsthāpanamityucyate| śarīrarohaṇāddoṣanirharaṇādacintyaprabhāvatayā vā'sminnūhāsambhavānnirūhaiti| anuvāsanaṃ yathārhouṣadhasiddhaḥ snehanārthe snehaḥ| snehavidhou sa caturddhā'bhihitaḥ| tasya bhedo mātrābastiḥ| sa peyasnehahrasvamātrātulyaḥ, sevyaḥ sadā'tra mādhutailikavat| bālavṛddhādhvabhārayānavyāmacintāstrīnityastrīnṛpeśvarasukumāradurbalānilabhagnālpāgnibhirniṣparihāratayā sukho balyo varṇyaḥsṛṣṭamalo doṣandhaśca| tathā'pi tou nājīrṇe yojyou| na ca divāsvanpastayoḥ sevyaḥ| yataścāsou anuvasannapi na duṣyati, anuvāsanamapi dīyate, ityanuvāsanam| vāsanaṃ-bhojanam| uttarabastirapi sneho'nuvāsanavacchodhano nirūhavadapi ca kecidāhuḥ| sa nirūhāduttaramuttareṇa mārgeṇa dīyata ityutarabastiḥ|" iti|
