atha varṣācaryā| ca cayapūrvake prakope śodhanī, acayapūrvake śamanī| tatra sopapattikamubhayacaryā sādhāraṇaṃ vidhatte-ādānamlanavapuṣāmiti| yatsādhāraṇaṃsarvadoṣaharaṃ, yaccoṣmaṇastejanaṃ-agnidīptikaraṃ, tatsarvaṃ varṣāsu bhajet| keṣu satsu? teṣu-agnidoṣeṣu, anyonyadūṣiṣu-kṛtaparasparadūṣaṇeṣu satsu| sarveṣāṃ duṣṭatvārsarvasādhāraṇaṃ bhajedityarthaḥ| kathamanyonyadūṣaṇam? iti,-anena prakāreṇa| ādānenāvasannadehānāmagnirapi dehāvayavatvādavasanno'pi punardoṣaiḥ sīdati-mandatvalakṣaṇāṃ duṣṭiṃ yāti| te ca doṣā ādānamandena vahninā duṣyanti-duṣṭiṃ yānti| vahneḥ sahakārīṇyāha-ambulambāmbude'mbare,-jalabharalambamānameṅe nabhasi sati, satuṣāreṇa-sajalakaṇen, sahasā pravṛttena śītalena ca vāyunā duṣyanti, bhūvāṣpeṇa ca duṣyanti, amlapākena malinena ca vāriṇā duṣyanti| duṣṭiścātra vāyoścayapūrvakaḥ prakopaḥ, "cayaprakopraśamā vāyorgrīṣmādiṣu triṣu" iti (hṛ. sū. a. 12/24) vacanāt| pittasya cayalakṣaṇā duṣṭiḥ, varṣādiṣu tu pittasya" iti (hṛ.
