The Sanskrit edition of the Apastamba Sulba-sutra with the commentaries of Kapardin, Karavinda and Sundararaja. The Sulbasutras are considered Vedic appendices and deals with the ancient Indian science of Mathematics and Geometry, by instructing the construction of fire-altars, among others. adhyardhapuruṣas tiryag dvāv āyāmata iti dīrghaṃ caturaśraṃ vihṛtya śroṇyaṃsebhyo dve dve ṣoḍasyau nirasyet | catvāriṃśat pariśiṣyante | sa ātmā || ĀpŚus_18.4 ||
adhyardhapuruṣā tiryaṅbhānī dvipuruṣā pārśvamānī /
evaṃ dīrghacaturaśraṃ vihṛtya śroṇībhyāmaṃsābhyāṃ ca dve dve ṣoḍaśyau pratyekaṃ nirasyet -- tyajet /
akṣṇayā .... yathā śroṇyaṃseṣu catvāri caturaśrāṇi ardhapuruṣapramāṇāni kṛtvā akṣṇayānyārdhāni nirasyet /
