The Sanskrit edition of the Apastamba Sulba-sutra with the commentaries of Kapardin, Karavinda and Sundararaja. The Sulbasutras are considered Vedic appendices and deals with the ancient Indian science of Mathematics and Geometry, by instructing the construction of fire-altars, among others. dikṣu cātvālā bhavanti | tebhyaḥ puraṣimabhyudūhatīti vijñāyate || ĀpŚus_14.3 ||
samūhyaṃ ityupadhānaprakāraviśeṣo nākṛtiviśeṣaḥ / prakṛtāvevāyaṃ vidhiḥ nākṛtivikāreṣu / agnikṣetrasya parita iṣṭakāḥ sthāpayitvā yathā samūhanaṃ kriyate tathopadadhāti sarvata upādāyopadadhātīti yāvat / sa evopadhānavidhiḥ -- "pratidiśaṃ cātvālā bhāvanti bahirvedi / tebhyaśvātvālebhyaḥ purīṣaṃ pāṃśūnabhyudṛhatīti' śrutiḥ /
