The Sanskrit edition of the Apastamba Sulba-sutra with the commentaries of Kapardin, Karavinda and Sundararaja. The Sulbasutras are considered Vedic appendices and deals with the ancient Indian science of Mathematics and Geometry, by instructing the construction of fire-altars, among others. ekavidhaprabhṛtīnāṃ prathamāhāreṇa dvitīyena tṛtīyeneti yo yujyeta | sarveṣāṃ yathā śrutisaṅkhyā tathordhvapramāṇam || ĀpŚus_12.2 ||

ekavidhaprabhṛtīnāṃ ṣaḍvidhaparyantānāṃ sarveṣāṃ prathamāhāre dvitīyāhāre ca yathā saṅkhyāḥ śrūyante /

kimuktaṃ bhavati? yadi prathamāhāraḥsahasrasaṅkhyā jānudaghnatā ca /
atha dvitīya ete yuktā eva /
te dharmāḥ saptārdhasvarūpayuktā eveti /
tacca vacanaṃ saptārdhaprakṛtitvajñāpanārtham //

vyatyā rṣet

gataṃ / vikṛtiṣu punarvyatyāse vacanaṃ kimartham? ucyate -- prakṛtau citīnāṃ prastārāṇāṃ ca vaiṣamyāt kimayaṃ vyatyāsaḥ prastāradharmaḥ citidharma iti kasyacitsandehaḥsyāt / vikṛtau tu dviprastārāśvitaya iti prastārayorvaiṣamyemāyaṃ vyatyāsaḥ kasya dharma iti sandehe yāvantaḥ prastārāstāvato vyatyasya cinuyāt bhedābhāvāya / vyatyāsasya prastāradharmatāpratipādanāya punarvacanaṃ vyatyāsasya /

ekavidhaprabhṛtiṣaḍvidhaparyantānāṃ prathamāhāraḥ prathamaprayogaḥ yo yujyeta bhṛśaṃ yukto bhavati / yathāśrutisaṅkhyā śrutyuktena prakāreṇa saṅkhyā sahasrādiḥ yathā bhṛśaṃ yujyate tathordhvapramāṇaṃ jānudaghnādi ca yoyujyeteti ca sambandhaḥ / ekavidhaprabhṛtiṣaḍvidhaparyantānāṃ sarveṣāṃ prathamāhāreṇa dvitīyāhāreṇa tṛtīyāhāreṇa "sāhasraṃ cinvīta prathamaṃ cinvānaḥ' ityādyāḥ śrūyamāṇāḥ sāhasrādisaṅkhyājānudaghnādiparimāṇāśvaiteṣu sampādyatayopadiśyante / etena ekavidhasya

prakṛtitve dvividhādīnāṃ tatprakṛtitve ca sāhasrādisaṅkhyājānudaghnādi parimāṇatvaṃ siddhaṃ bhavati / ekavidhādayo'pi nityā eva akāmasambandhāt / prakṛtayo vikṛtayaś ca nityā uktāḥ / itānīṃ kāmyāḥ praugādaya ucyante /
