The Sanskrit edition of the Apastamba Sulba-sutra with the commentaries of Kapardin, Karavinda and Sundararaja. The Sulbasutras are considered Vedic appendices and deals with the ancient Indian science of Mathematics and Geometry, by instructing the construction of fire-altars, among others. etāvantyeva śuddhamūlāni jñātuṃ śakyāni vediviharaṇāni bhavanti / anye śuddhamūlāḥ kalpayitumaśakyāḥ / tasmādetāvantītyavadhāryante--

karavindīyā vyākhyā.

dvādaśiketi / idamapi gatārtham / yūpāvaṭīye dvādaśikā, prathamanihataśaṅkoḥ purastātprakramamātre śaṅkuṃ nihatya tasmin saptatriṃśikā, tābyāmaṃsau, pañcamadvayābhyāsaprāptamidaṃ, pañcaguṇābhyāsaptāptaṃ /

śuddhamūlatay.ā jñātuṃ śakyāni etāvantye vetyavadhāraṇā / etāvantyuktāni, anyānyapi unneyāni, sacchedābhiḥ rajjubhirnirhrāsavṛddhibhyāṃ ca vediviharaṇāni bhavantyeva, yadyapi idaṃ viharaṇamekarajjvā dvisayogenaiva vyākhyatam, tathā tri śaṅkupañcaśaṅkubhtyāmapi nirhrāsavṛddhibhyāṃ yathā yogaṃ vihartavyaḥ, itarathā tayorvidhānasyādṛṣṭārthatvakalpanāprasaṅgāt, ato nidarśanametat sarvaviharaṇānām /

chedarahitānyetāvanti / sacchedānyanyānyapi bahūni santi yathā--

ardhadvādaśikārdhacaturthikayorardhatrayodaśikākṣṇayārajjuḥ, tābhiraṃsau / pañcadaśikāsapādaikādaśikayoḥ pādonaikānnaviṃśikākṣṇayārajjuḥ, tābhiḥśroṇī ityādi /

kapardibhāṣyam.
