The Sanskrit edition of the Apastamba Grihya-sutra with the commentaries of Haradatta (called the Anakula-vritti) and Sudarshana (called the Grihyatatparyadarshana-vyakhya). The Apastamba Grihyasutra is a short treatise on Vedic rituals which, together with the Hiranyakeshin-grihya-sutra, belongs to the Taittiriya School of the Black Yajur-Veda. uttareṇa yajuṣā'svastinaḥ pūrṇamukha'ityanena upasthānaṃ ca mahādevasya, tatpradhānatvātka4maṇaḥ /
'pūrṇamukha'; ityapi tasyaiva nirdeśaḥ /
pūrmāhutibhiḥ pūrmamukhaḥ /
upasthāyatatauttarairmantraiḥ"gṛhapopaspṛśe, tyādibhiḥ aṣṭādaśabhiḥ sahaudanāni parṇāni mantrapratītābhyo devatābhyo dadāti /
tatra cāditassaptabhiḥ pratimantraṃ dve dve parṇedadāti /
aṣṭamena daśadevasenābhya iti vadan mantrapratītā devatā darśayati /
tatra gṛhapa iti mahādevābhidhānaṃ manyate gṛhān pātīti /
'namo rudrāya vāstoṣpataya'iti ca mantrāntaram /
tasmādanena devāya parṇadvayaṃ tasyaivaudanāt /
gṛbapī devī, tasmādanena mantreṇa devyai dātavyaṃ tasyā evaudanāt /
ghoṣiṇī ityādayaḥ, sarvagaṇā devasyānucarāḥ /

tebhyo'pi devakuṭīsamīpe tasyāvodanāt parṇadvayāni /
devasenā bhūtagaṇāḥ /
tebhyo'pi sarpagaṇavat /
deśottarābhyaḥ " ākhyātā" ityasminnuttare mantre pratītā uttarā devatāḥ /

uttareṇa yajuṣā'svasti naḥ pūrṇamukha'ityanena agnimīśānaṃ vo pariṣṭhate /
idaṃ ca yathāpāṭhaṃ sviṣṭakṛto'nantaram /
tato lepayorityāditantraśeṣasamāptiḥ'pariṣecanāntaṃ kṛtvā parṇadānam'iti bhāṣyakāravacanāt /

kecit-upasthānādi tantraśeṣasamāptiriti /

tato yathāsvamodanebhya eva yājñiyeṣu parṇānyuttaraiḥ'gṛhapopaspṛśa'ityādibhissaptabhirdadātīti sāmānyena vidhāya viśinaṣṭi ekaikena mantreṇa dve dve parṇe iti /
atha dve dve ityetadapavadati-daśetyādinā /
devasyeśānasya senāḥ devasenāḥ , tābhyo daśa parṇāni dakṣiṇasyāṃ kuṭyāṃ devasyaivaudanādavadāya dadāti /
tathā daśaiva parṇānyuttarābhyo devasenābhyaḥ /
uttarasmin mantre'yā ākyātā yāścānākhyātā'iti guṇadvayavatyastā uttarā devasenāḥ //5//
