The Sanskrit edition of the Apastamba Grihya-sutra with the commentaries of Haradatta (called the Anakula-vritti) and Sudarshana (called the Grihyatatparyadarshana-vyakhya). yāṃ duhitaraṃ pitā priyāṃ kāmayeta bharturiyaṃ priyāsyāditi tāṃ niṣṭhāyāṃ nakṣatre dadyāt /evaṃ dattā sā bhavatyeva tasya priyā /
ayaṃ cāparo'sya nakṣatrasya guṇaḥ sā ptṛgṛhāt punararthinī nāgacchati /
patugṛha eva tasyāssarve kāmāssampadyante /
anye tu nindāmimāṃ manyante /
brahmaṇāvekṣo vidhiriti vacanāt anye'pi smṛtyapekṣā nakṣatyapekṣā nakṣatravidhayo bhavanti /
anyathā puṃsavane tiṣyavat vivāhe idameva nakṣatraṃ syāt //3//

iyaṃ bhartuḥ priya syāditi yāṃ duhitaraṃ pitā kāmayeta tāṃ niṣṭyāyāṃ svātau varāya dadyāt /sā tasya priyaiva bhavati /
neva tu naiva ca rogadāridyādinā pīḍyamānā arthinī punaḥ pitṛgṛhamāgacchati;svagṛha eva tasyāssarve arthossampadyanta iti brāhmaṇāvekṣo vidhiḥ /
atrāpi pūrvavat smārtapuṇyoktanakṣatrairvikalpaḥ //3//
