This is a photograph of the Light House found at the complex site of the Vihara. In Sanskrit this would be known as dīpamandira (दीप-मन्दिर, dipa-mandira).

ඔබ මෙම පහන්වැට තුල අළුතින් පහන් දල්වා පූජාකල පසු මදක් නවතින්න..!
සුළගින් නිවී ගිය පහන් කිහිපයක් යලි දල්වා මෙම පහන් ආලෝකය පූජාවේ අනුහසින් නිවීයමින් පවතින ගෞතම බුද්ධ ශාසනය යලි ලොව බැබලේවා යයි ප්‍රාර්ථනා කරන්න
ඔබ වැනි පිරිසකගේ අවංක ප්‍රාර්ථනය ගෞතම බුද්ධ ශාසනය යලි ලොව බැබලීම පිණිස ඒකාන්තයෙන් හේතුවනු ඇත.
තෙරුවන් සරණයි..!

oba mema pahanvæṭa tula aḷutin pahan dalvā pūjākala pasu madak navatinna..!
suḷagin nivī giya pahan kihipayak yali dalvā mema pahan ālōkaya pūjāvē anuhasin nivīyamin pavatina gautama buddha śāsanaya yali lova bæbalēvā yayi prārthanā karanna
oba væni pirisakagē avaṅka prārthanaya gautama buddha śāsanaya yali lova bæbalīma piṇisa ēkāntayen hētuvanu æta.

After you light the new lamps in this panhveta and offer sacrifice, stop for a while..! Relight a few lamps that have been extinguished by the wind and pray that the Gautama Buddha Order will shine again in the world with the light of these lamps going out with the grace of the Puja. The sincere wishes of people like you will surely cause the Gautama Buddha Order to shine again in the world. God bless you..!

These photos were taken at the Tissamaharama Raja Maha Vihara situated in Sri Lanka, which includes a large Stupa that can be seen from afar. The whole complex is an ancient Buddhist temple which can be dated to the 3rd century BC. According to Theravada traditions, the site was visited by the historical Buddha who meditated at the Tissamaharama Stupa together with 500 Arhats (one who has achieved spiritual enlightenment).
