Syortok (स्योरतोक) refers to a “wooden bowl to knead potato and buck wheat flour”. It is a Nepali word which can also be transliterated as Syoratoka.

The text in Devanagari reads:

स्योरतोक - आलु र फापरको पिठो मिसाई मुछने काठको भांडो

Transliteration (IAST):

syoratoka - ālu ra phāparako piṭho misāī muchane kāṭhako bhāṃḍo/bhāṇḍo.

Plain text (initially IAST, brackets indicate Hunterian):

... [syortok] - alu ra phaparako [phaprako] pitho misai ... [muchhane] kathako bhamdo/bhando.

Gallery information:

The Sherpa people refers to one of the indigenous ethnic group from Nepal (the Himalayan regions) who migrated out of Tibet as early as the 13th century. Their religion is Tibetan Buddhism (particularly Nyingma) and they worship mountains as Gods pr protector deities. Sherpas speak Sino-Tibetan which represents a dialect of Tibetan.
