1. Dhanu-Kad (धनु-कांड) referring in English to “bow and arrow”. It can also be transliterated as: Dhanu-kāḍ, Dhanu-kāṃḍ, Dhanu-kamd, Dhanu-kāṇḍ, Dhanu-kand, Dhanu-kāṃḍa, Dhanu-kamda, Dhanu-kāṇḍa, Dhanu-kanda, Dhanu-kāḍa, Dhanu-kada, Dhanukāḍ, Dhanukad, Dhanukāṃḍ, Dhanukamd, Dhanukāṇḍ, Dhanukand, Dhanukāṃḍa (धनुकांड), Dhanukamda, Dhanukāṇḍa, Dhanukanda, Dhanukāḍa or Dhanukada.

2. Guleli-dhanu (गुलेली-धनु) referring in English to a “bow”. It can also be transliterated as: Gulelī-dhanu, Gulelīdhanu (गुलेलीधनु) or Gulelidhanu.

Note: the word Hathatiyar (हातहतियार), in English “weapons”, can also be transliterated as Hāthatiyār, Hātahatiyāra or Hatahatiyara.

The Kirat  people are an ancient civilization from Nepal whose kings ruled in Kathmandu valley since at least 650 B.C. Their native religion consists of worshopping natural entities. The Kirats consists of several groups of which the major branches are called the Yakha, Rai, Limbu and the Sunuwar
