Ttwo more female figures in the Garbha Graha Prakaram. The first lady is in Avahittha Sthana. Her right hand is in Lata and her left hand is folded up in Katakamukha and holding a flower.

Kumbakonam is considered as one of the holiest places in Tamil Nadu and is known for its temples and Mathas (monasteries which were centres of Brahmanical learning).
