Description of the photo

The hands are held above the head which seem to be performing the Urdhvamandali Hasta. Siras seems to be in Sama. Parsva seems to be turned around in Vivartita, Urah [uras] is in Udvahita, right side Kati is in Udvahita. The right leg is crossed over to the left side-right Pada is in Sama, right Jangha is in Avartita, right Janu is slightly bent, right Uru has done Nivartana. Left leg is straight and unbent. Left Pada is in Sama, left Jangha is unbent, left Janu is in Sama, left Uru is in Stambhana. A whirling movement seems to be performed.

This can be identified as Karana Parivrtta which is no.72 of the Natya Sastra according to whose description, “The hands are raised in Apavestita gesture, the feet are in Suci position and the Trika is turned around in Brahmari.” The turning around can be with Baddha Cari.
