Row of Small Windows from Nepal— The row of small false or functional windows is one of the most decorated clements of a traditional Newari (Nepali) building.

These windows in temples or other architectural buildings are placed on upper level at the centre of building in each direction.

The window frames are assembled without the use of the metal nails or glue although wooden pins are used.

These windows were made in various shapes like; round, arched, gilded, blind or pashukhya jhya (row of small windows) etc.

Pashukhya Jhya is a monastic window, which usually has three to five openings (mostly in odd numbers).

The central opening is usually more decorative and have double shutter and rest of openings have single shutter.

नेपाल की छोटी खिड़कियों की पंक्ति—पारंपरिक नेवारी (नेपाली) भवनों में छोटी दिखावटी अथवा क्रियाशील खिड़कियों की पंक्ति उनका सर्वाधिक सुसज्जित अंग होती हैं।

मंदिरों अथवा अन्य वास्तुकलात्मक भवनों में इन खिड़कियों को प्रत्येक दिशा में ऊपरी स्तर पर भवन के मध्य में बनाया जाता था।

खिड़की की चौखटों को जोड़ने में धातु की कीलों अथवा चिपकाने वाले पदार्थ का प्रयोग न कर लकड़ी की पिनों का प्रयोग किया जाता था।

ये खिड़कियां विभिन्न आकारों में बनाई जाती थीं जैसे गोलाकार, महराबदार, आदि।

पशुख्य झया मठों में बनाई जानी वाली खिड़की है जिसके तीन से पांच (अधिकतर असामान्य संख्या में) साधारण द्वार होते हैं।

बीच का द्वार साधारणतः अधिक सुसज्जित होता है। अन्य दरवाजों पर एक ही शटर होता है।

nepāla kī choṭī khiḍakiyoṃ kī paṃkti—pāraṃparika nevārī (nepālī) bhavanoṃ meṃ choṭī dikhāvaṭī athavā kriyāśīla khiḍakiyoṃ kī paṃkti unakā sarvādhika susajjita aṃga hotī haiṃ|

maṃdiroṃ athavā anya vāstukalātmaka bhavanoṃ meṃ ina khiḍakiyoṃ ko pratyeka diśā meṃ ūparī stara para bhavana ke madhya meṃ banāyā jātā thā|

khiḍakī kī caukhaṭoṃ ko joḍane meṃ dhātu kī kīloṃ athavā cipakāne vāle padārtha kā prayoga na kara lakaḍī kī pinoṃ kā prayoga kiyā jātā thā|

ye khiḍakiyāṃ vibhinna ākāroṃ meṃ banāī jātī thīṃ jaise golākāra, maharābadāra, ādi|

paśukhya jhayā maṭhoṃ meṃ banāī jānī vālī khiḍakī hai jisake tīna se pāṃca (adhikatara asāmānya saṃkhyā meṃ) sādhāraṇa dvāra hote haiṃ|

nepal ki chhoti khidkiyon ki pankti—paramparik newari (nepali) bhavanon men chhoti dikhavati athva kriyashil khidkiyon ki pankti unka sarvadhik susajjit ang hoti hain.

mandiron athva any vastukalatmak bhavanon men in khidkiyon ko pratyek disha men upari star par bhavan ke madhy men banaya jata tha.

khidki ki chaukhaton ko jodne men dhatu ki kilon athva chipkane vale padarth ka prayog na kar lakdi ki pinon ka prayog kiya jata tha.

ye khidkiyan vibhinn aakar men banai jati thin jaise golakar, mahrabdar, adi.

pashukhya jhaya mathon men banai jani vali khidki hai jiske tin se panch (adhiktar asamanya sankhya men) sadharan dvar hote hain.

beech ka dvar sadharanatah adhik susajjit hota hai. any darvazon par ek hi shattar hota hai.
