Bala Krishna is shown dancing with the left foot placed on a circular pedestal. The first finger of the right hand is in suchi-mudra. The wavy locks are dressed high (jata-mukuta), with spiral curls on the forehead and braided locks hanging on the back.

यहां बालकृष्ण को अपना बाया पैर गोलाकार पीठिका पर रखकर नृत्य करते हुए दर्शाया गया है। उनके दाएं हाथ की पहली अंगुलि सूचि मुद्रा में है। बालकृष्ण की इस प्रतिमा का केशविन्यास बहुत सुन्दर है।

These photographs are from the section “Bronze images” (kamsya) within the National Museum of New Delhi (India). Bronze images, small for domestic shrines or larger and hollow, are made using the lost wax process (madhuchista-vidhana). Bronze is an alloy of copper and tin. The oldest group of bronze sculptures from the Indian subcontinent date back to the 3rd millennium B.C.E.
