This wood sculpture shows an image of Arya Tara, from the 18th century A.D.—This figure of Arya Tara is seated on the lotus base in lalita-asana pose. Her hands are carrying the lotus stalk.
Arya Tara can also be spelled as Ārya Tārā (आर्य तारा), Aryatara or Āryatārā (आर्यतारा).
