This wood sculpture shows an image of Shiva and Parvati, from the 17th century A.D.—This image of Shiva is shown here with his consort, Parvati. Ganesha, their offspring, seen here on the right, is accompanied by other Ganas.

Shiva can also be spelled as Siva or Śiva (शिव), while Parvati can also be spelled as Pārvatī (पार्वती).
