Description:

Tiger are found in Nepal, India and Bangladesh. In 1982 the estimated population of tiger in Nepal is 100-150 . Tiger are distributed in the tall grass land and Tarai forest of the rain or dry forest or to the open hill and midland. Tiger being carnivores live in such area’s where there is enough water and prey. Life-span is about twenty years .

बाघ—बाघहरु नेपाल भारत र बंगालादेशमा पाइन्छन । इ.स १९८२ को गणना अनुसार त्यसबेला नेपालमा १०० देखि १५० वटा बाघहरु थिए । यिनीहरु अग्लो घाँसको झाडी भएको तराईको जंगल देखि लिएर पहाडी खुल्ला ठाउंमा पाइन्छन । यी जनावरहरु मांसाहारी भएकोले जहाँ प्रसस्त मात्रामा पानी र आहारा प्राप्त हुन्छ त्यहाँ रहन्छन् । बाघहरु आन्दाजी २० वर्ष बाच्दछन् ।

Tigers are found in Nepal, India and Bangladesh. According to the census of AD 1982, there were 100 to 150 tigers in Nepal at that time. They can be found from lowland forests with tall grass bushes to mountainous open areas. Since these animals are carnivores, they stay where there is plenty of water and food. Tigers live about 20 years.
