Building Ceramics—This was used to construct buildings. But this was found from the Avondster ship. And it provides evidences that it was used in constructing it's kitchen or any other parts of the ship. The light yellow colour of the brick, was of the high constituent of chalk that present in the clay, which was taken from a river valley. The yellow bricks are without doubt made in Netherland.

ගඩොල් කුට්ටිය—මෙම ගඩොල් ගොඩනැගිලි තැනීමට භාවිතා කරන ලද්දකි. එහෙත් මෙම ගඩොල් කුට්ටිය අපට හමු වූයේ Avondster වලිනි. එහි නැවට හෝ නැවෙහි මුළුතැන්ගෙයට අයත්ව තිබූ බවට සාධක හමුවේ. මෙහි ලා පැහැති වර්ණයට හේතුව වන්නේ මෙහි අමුද්‍රව්‍ය ලෙස ගත් වැලි අයත් ගඟ ආශ්‍රිතපසෙහි වූ හුණු සහිත සංයුතියයි. එමෙන්ම මෙහි නිජබිම නෙදර්ලන්තය ලෙස ද සැලකේ.

gaḍol kuṭṭiya—mema gaḍol goḍanægili tænīmaṭa bhāvitā karana laddaki. ehet mema gaḍol kuṭṭiya apaṭa hamu vūyē Avondster valini. ehi nævaṭa hō nævehi muḷutængeyaṭa ayatva tibū bavaṭa sādhaka hamuvē. mehi lā pæhæti varṇayaṭa hētuva vannē mehi amudravya lesa gat væli ayat gaṅga āśritapasehi vū huṇu sahita saṅyutiyayi. emenma mehi nijabima nedarlantaya lesa da sælakē.

gadol kuttiya—mema gadol godanægili tænimata bhavita karana laddaki. ehet mema gadol kuttiya apata hamu vuye Avondster valini. ehi nævata ho nævehi mulutængeyata ayatva tibu bavata sadhaka hamuve. mehi la pæhæti varnayata hetuva vanne mehi amudravya lesa gat væli ayat ganga ashritapasehi vu hunu sahita sanyutiyayi. emenma mehi nijabima nedarlantaya lesa da sælake.

செங்கல் துண்டு—இது கட்டிடங்கள் அமைப்பதற்கு பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டது. ஆனால் இது அவொண்ட்ஸ்ரர் கப்பலில் இருந்து கண்டெடுக்கப்பட்டது. அத்துடன், இது அக் கப்பலின் சமையலறை அல்லது வேறு ஏதேனும் பகுதியை கட்டுவதற்கு பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டது என்பதை நிரூபிக்கும் சான்றாகவும் உள்ளது. செங்கல்லில் காணப்படும் இள மஞ்சள் நிறமானது களிமண்ணில் அதிகளவில் சுண்ணாம்பு உள்ளமையை காட்டுகின்றது. எனவே, அது ஆற்றுப் பள்ளத்தாக்கில் இருந்து எடுக்கப்பட்ட மண்ணில் செய்யப்பட்டதாகும். மஞ்சள் செங்கற்கள் நெதர்லாந்தில் செய்யப்பட்டவை என்பதில் சந்தேகமில்லை.

ceṅkal tuṇṭu—itu kaṭṭiṭaṅkaḷ amaippataṟku payaṉpaṭuttappaṭṭatu. āṉāl itu avoṇṭsrar kappalil iruntu kaṇṭeṭukkappaṭṭatu. attuṭaṉ, itu ak kappaliṉ camaiyalaṟai allatu vēṟu ētēṉum pakutiyai kaṭṭuvataṟku payaṉpaṭuttappaṭṭatu eṉpatai nirūpikkum cāṉṟākavum uḷḷatu. ceṅkallil kāṇappaṭum iḷa mañcaḷ niṟamāṉatu kaḷimaṇṇil atikaḷavil cuṇṇāmpu uḷḷamaiyai kāṭṭukiṉṟatu. eṉavē, atu āṟṟup paḷḷattākkil iruntu eṭukkappaṭṭa maṇṇil ceyyappaṭṭatākum. mañcaḷ ceṅkaṟkaḷ netarlāntil ceyyappaṭṭavai eṉpatil cantēkamillai.

sengal thundu—ithu kattidangal amaippatharku payanpaduthappattathu. anal ithu avondsrar kappalil irunthu kandedukkappattathu. athudan, ithu ag kappalin samaiyalarai allathu veru ethenum paguthiyai kattuvatharku payanpaduthappattathu enpathai nirupikkum sanragavum ullathu. sengallil kanappadum ila manchal niramanathu kalimannil athigalavil sunnambu ullamaiyai kattuginrathu. enave, athu arrup pallathakkil irunthu edukkappatta mannil seyyappattathagum. manchal sengarkal netharlanthil seyyappattavai enpathil santhegamillai.

These photos were taken at the Maritime Museum in Galle (Sri Lanka) which include objects recovered from the 2nd century B.C. Godawaya shipwreck. The Maritime Museum is housed in Galle's historic Dutch warehouse (built in 1671) and opened its doors on May 9, 1992. The Maritime Archaeology Museum is serving as a centre of education for various groups of visitors and researchers of Southern region of Sri Lanka.
