Caribagh (चरीबाघ) in Nepali refers to the animal Leopard Cat (Prionailurus bengalensis, from the Prionailurus genus and Felidae family). It is is mentioned as one of the “Protected animals of Nepal”.

The word Caribagh can also be transliterated as Caribagha, Carībāgh or Carībāgha.
