Bahsinge (बाहसिङ्गे) in Nepali refers to the animal Swamp Deer (Rucervus duvaucelii syn. Cervus duvaucelii or “barasingha”, from the Rucervus genus and Cervidae family). It is is mentioned as one of the “Protected animals of Nepal”.

The word Bahsinge can also be transliterated as Bāhsiṅge, Bāhasiṅge or Bahasinge.
