Dhvanse-bandar (ध्वांसेबांदर) in Nepali refers to the Assamese Monkey (Macaca assamensis or “Assam macaque”, from the Macaca genus and Cercopithecidae family). It is is mentioned as one of the “Protected animals of Nepal”.

The word Dhvanse-bandar can also be transliterated as Dhvansebandar, Dhvase-badar, Dhvasebadar, Dhvamse-bamdar Dhvamsebamdar, Dhvāṃsebāṃdar, Dhvāsebādar, Dhvāṃsebāṃdara, Dhvāsebādara, Dhvāṃse-bāṃdar, Dhvāse-bādar, Dhvāṃse-bāṃdara, or Dhvāse-bādara.
