Loth Salla (लोठ सल्ला) in Nepali refers to the plant Taxus wallichiana or “Himalayan Marsh Orchid” from the Taxaceae or “yew family”. It is is mentioned as one of the “Protected plants of Nepal”. The photo also depicts the twig (हांगा, hanga/hāṃgā) and seed (विउ, viu).
