This terra cotta sculpture shows an image of Mahakala Khadgavira, from the 16th century A.D., and is made on the tympanum-shaped panel. This multi-headed and multi-armed Tantric imagery is holding his usual attributes in each hand.
Mahakala Khadgavira can also be spelled as Mahākāla Khaḍgavīra (महाकाल खड्गवीर).
