Description of the photo

This stone sculpture shows the image of Durga from the 8th-century. Durga is the unconquerable form of the female goddess. In the form of fierce aspects, she is known as Durga. Here, Durga is seated cross-legged on the lotus base and two attendants are shown standing on either side. On the lower panel Ganesh (Ganesha) is seen at the center.
