This bronze sculpture shows an image of a Vasudeva Kamalaja, from the 17th century.—The conjoint image of Vishnu and Lakshmi as ardhanarishvara is also known as Vasudeva Kamalaja. Such images are made on the concept of integrity of male (purusha) and female (prakriti) when the female is an integral part of male. The right half of the image represents Vishnu while the left half represents Lakshmi.

Vasudeva Kamalaja can also be spelled as Vasudev, Vāsudev, Basudev, Bāsudev, Basudeva, Bāsudeva, Kamlaja or Vāsudeva Kamalajā (वासुदेव कमलजा).
