This bronze sculpture shows an image of Kubera, from the 20th century A.D.—Kubera is popular as the God of Wealth both in Hindu and Buddhist pantheon. This image of Kubera is seated in lalita-asana on the lotus base holding a purse (thaili) in his hand.
Kubera (कुबेर) can also be spelled as Kuvera (कुवेर).
