1. To decorate and adorn. For example, "The heavy snow overnight decorated the earth into a silver world." (一夜的大雪把大地成銀色世界 [yi ye de da xue ba da de cheng yin se shi jie]。) Song Dynasty, Wu Zimu, Meng Liang Lu, Volume 16, "Tea Houses": "Nowadays, tea houses in Hangzhou are also like this, inserting seasonal flowers, hanging paintings by famous people, and decorating the storefront." 2. xuàn rǎn kuā zhāng. < yě sǒu pù yán> dì yī yī èr huí: “jǐn náng de huà, yī xiē méi yǒu zhuāng diǎn, hái zhǐ shuō dé dà gài.”
