Pointing at the lines on the palm of one's hand to show someone. Originally from the "Li Ji · Zhong Ni Yan Ju" (禮記 [li ji].仲尼燕居 [zhong ni yan ju]): "Governing a country is as easy as pointing at one's palm!" It is a metaphor for something very easy to do. "Jin Shu · Volume Two · Emperor Wen Ji" (晉書 [jin shu].卷二 [juan er].文帝紀 [wen di ji]): "Taking Shu (蜀 [shu]) is as easy as pointing at the palm of one's hand, but everyone says it is impossible.
