正法橋 [zheng fa qiao]—Right Dharma Bridge (正法桥 [zheng fa qiao]) — [Metaphor (譬喻 [pi yu])] The Right Dharma (正法 [zheng fa]) can carry people across the sea of birth and death (生死海 [sheng si hai]), hence it is likened to a bridge (桥 [qiao]). Mahasamghata Sutra (大集经 [da ji jing]), Volume 56, states: "When the Right Dharma Bridge is destroyed, the Dharma feet (法足 [fa zu]) can no longer walk."
正法橋—【譬喻】正法能渡生死海之人,故譬之於橋。大集經五十六曰:「正法橋破壞,法足不復行。」
[pì yù] zhèng fǎ néng dù shēng sǐ hǎi zhī rén, gù pì zhī yú qiáo. dà jí jīng wǔ shí liù yuē: “zhèng fǎ qiáo pò huài, fǎ zú bù fù xíng.”
