鯽跳 [zéi tiào] [zei tiao]—
Handsome and beautiful (俊美 [jun mei]), it is the fanqie (反切 [fan qie]) pronunciation for the character 俏 [qiao] (qiào). From Tian Rucheng's (田汝成 [tian ru cheng]) Xihu Youlan Zhiyu (西湖遊覽志餘 [xi hu you lan zhi yu]), Volume 25 (卷二五 [juan er wu]), Weixiang Congtan (委巷叢談 [wei xiang cong tan]) of the Ming (明 [ming]) Dynasty: "Hangzhou people (杭人 [hang ren]) have a way of using two characters to fanqie (反切 [fan qie]) one character to form its sound, such as... pronouncing 俏 [qiao] (qiào) as (jì tiào)."
鯽跳：俊美，為「俏」字的反切語。明．田汝成《西湖遊覽志餘．卷二五．委巷叢談》：「杭人有以二字反切一字以成聲者，如……以俏為鯽跳。」
zéi tiào: jùn měi, wèi “qiào” zì de fǎn qiè yǔ. míng． tián rǔ chéng < xī hú yóu lǎn zhì yú． juǎn èr wǔ． wěi xiàng cóng tán>: “háng rén yǒu yǐ èr zì fǎn qiè yī zì yǐ chéng shēng zhě, rú……yǐ qiào wèi zéi tiào.”
