1) Fit to be yoked; शकटापणवेशाश्च यानयुग्यं च सर्वशः (śakaṭāpaṇaveśāśca yānayugyaṃ ca sarvaśaḥ) Mahābhārata (Bombay) 5.151.58.
2) Belonging to a yoke.
3) Yoked, harnessed.
4) Drawn by; as in अश्वयुग्यो रत्रः (aśvayugyo ratraḥ).
-gyaḥ Any yoked or draught animal, especially a chariot-horse; हरियुग्यं रथं तस्मै प्रजिघाय पुरंदरः (hariyugyaṃ rathaṃ tasmai prajighāya puraṃdaraḥ) R.12.84.
-gyam A vehicle, carriage.
