Yuddamalla II built the beautiful city of Bezawada which was probably the seat of his kingdom. He built a new temple dedicated to Kartikeya, the guardian deity of his family. A tower was erected in front of the temple by his father Yuddamala I. he reign of Yuddamalla II, came to an end abruptly with the advent of Chalukya Bhima II, half-brother of Amma I. Kolavennu plates record the achievements of Bhima II.
