遠離樂 [yuan li le]—Joy of Detachment — [Technical Term (術語 [shu yu])] One of the five kinds of joy (五種樂 [wu zhong le]). It refers to the joy and bliss (喜樂 [xi le]) of meditative absorption (禪定 [chan ding]) that arises in the First Dhyāna (初禪 [chu chan]) heaven, upon detaching from the defilements (愛染 [ai ran]) and afflictions (煩惱 [fan nao]) of the desire realm (欲界 [yu jie]).
