漁娘 [yú niáng] [yu niang]—
1. A woman who engages in fishing. Also known as "Yú Niáng" (漁孃 [yu niang]).
2. An animal. Class Insecta, Order Coleoptera. The body is somewhat spherical, the entire body is a dark yellow color, and the elytra (w鞘 [qiao]) have black tortoise shell-shaped markings. The antennae (觸角 [chu jiao]) and palps (兩鬚 [liang xu]) are slender and earthen-colored. The underside of the body and legs are dark yellow. The compound eyes (複眼 [fu yan]) have two brown stripes in the center, and the posterior margin of the pronotum (前胸背 [qian xiong bei]) has two black stripes. Commonly found near ponds and swamps.
