一切有情 [yi qie you qing]—(all sentient beings) — [Technical term] This term is synonymous with 一切众生 [yi qie zhong sheng] (all living beings). The 旧译 [jiu yi] (old translation) was 众生 [zhong sheng], while the 新译 [xin yi] (new translation) is 有情 [you qing]. The 大般若经 [da ban ruo jing] (Mahaprajnaparamita Sutra), Volume 578, states: "(all sentient beings) are 如来藏 [ru lai cang] (Tathagatagarbha/Buddha-nature)."
一切有情—【術語】與一切眾生同。舊譯為眾生,新譯為有情。大般若經五百七十八曰:「一切有情如來藏。」
