Operatic Tune Origins: (1) During the Jiajing era of the Ming Dynasty, the Haiyan tune (海鹽腔 [hai yan qiang]) from Zhejiang province was introduced to Yihuang (宜黃 [yi huang]), Jiangxi province, where it integrated with the local accent and evolved. (2) During the Qing Dynasty, the Shipai tune (石牌腔 [shi pai qiang]) from Huaining (懷寧 [huai ning]), Anhui province was introduced to Yihuang (宜黃 [yi huang]) and evolved.
宜黃腔:戲曲腔調:(1)明嘉靖年間,浙江海鹽腔傳入江西宜黃,融合當地鄉音,演變而成。(2)清時安徽懷寧石牌腔傳入宜黃,演變而成。
