Yāyāvarīya (यायावरीय) is the name of an important person (viz., an Ācārya or Kavi) mentioned in Rājaśekhara’s 10th-century Kāvyamīmāṃsā.—The family of which the poet and critic Rājaśekhara was belongs. He was composed his Magnum-opus Kāvyamīmāṃsā in eighteen Adhikaraṇa. In this Kāvyamīmāṃsā, Rājaśekhara cited fourth times in this name and established his own views.
