Source: What is India: Epigraphia Indica volume XXXI (1955-56)Yanvachāpaṭi or Yanvachāpaṭigrāma is the name of an ancient city mentioned in the “Alarpur of Narasiṃha II” (1294 A. D.). The first plot of land comprised the village of Yanvachāpaṭigrāma (or Pandhaº?) in the Vāhattari khaṇḍa of the Kalambora-viṣaya, with the exception of the land belonging to the śāsana (land granted by a charter) pertaining to Rāma-pratirāja.
These copper plate (mentioning Yanvachāpaṭi) were found while digging the foundation for a house in the village Alalpur. The grant was made by king Narasiṃha II in february 1294 A.D. It's object was to increase the king’s longevity, health, wealth and majesty.
