閻曼德迦 [yan man de jia]—Yamāntaka — Vidyaraja (明王 [ming wang]) Yamāntaka, also known as Flaming Wrath King (焰曼威怒王 [yan man wei nu wang]), Venerable Yamāntaka (閻摩德迦尊 [yan mo de jia zun]), Conqueror of Yama (降閻魔尊 [jiang yan mo zun]), Great Terrifying Wisdom King (大威德明王 [da wei de ming wang]), and Six-legged Venerable One (六足尊 [liu zu zun]). He is the Venerable One of the West (西方之尊 [xi fang zhi zun]) among the Five Great Wisdom Kings (五大明王 [wu da ming wang]), and the Karmic Emanation Body (教令輪身 [jiao ling lun shen]) of Amitābha Buddha (無量壽佛 [wu liang shou fu]). The third volume of Taizō Mandara Daishō (胎曼陀羅大鈔 [tai man tuo luo da chao]) states: "His esoteric name (密號 [mi hao]) is Daweide (Great Terrifying One), also Daweide Vajra (大威德金剛 [da wei de jin gang]), his proper name is Yamāntaka, and his Chinese name (漢號 [han hao]) is unknown."
