Source: Wikisource: A dictionary of Sanskrit grammarYaḍluganta (यड्लुगन्त).—A secondary root formed by adding the affix यङ् (yaṅ) to roots specified in P. III. 1.22,23,24, which affix is sometimes dropped: cf. यङोचि च (yaṅoci ca) ; P. II. 4. 74. The yanluganta roots take the parasmaipada personal endings and not the atmanepada ones which are applied to yananta roots.
Vyakarana (व्याकरण, vyākaraṇa) refers to Sanskrit grammar and represents one of the six additional sciences (vedanga) to be studied along with the Vedas. Vyakarana concerns itself with the rules of Sanskrit grammar and linguistic analysis in order to establish the correct context of words and sentences.
