性空觀 [xing kong guan]—Observation of the Emptiness of Nature — [Term] One of the Three Contemplations of Nanshan (南山三觀 [nan shan san guan]). It is a Hinayana (小乘 [xiao cheng]) method of contemplation (觀法 [guan fa]), observing that the nature of phenomena arisen from causes and conditions (因緣生之法 [yin yuan sheng zhi fa]) is empty.
