顯明 [xian ming]—Manifestation — [Term (術語 [shu yu])] The absence of defilement (垢染 [gou ran]) from evil (惡 [e]). The Longer Sukhāvatīvyūha Sūtra (無量壽經 [wu liang shou jing]) states: "Wash away the dirt and sweat (垢汗 [gou han]), and manifest purity (清白 [qing bai])."

The Sutra of Immeasurable Life (Lower Volume) (無量壽經下 [wu liang shou jing xia]) states: "The wise and sagacious elders (長者 [zhang zhe]) are honorable (尊貴 [zun gui]) and immensely rich (豪富 [hao fu])."

To be clear and obvious. 《荀子 [xun zi]．成相 [cheng xiang]》: "Xu You (許由 [xu you]) and Shan Juan (善卷 [shan juan]) valued righteousness over profit, and their actions were clearly revealed (重義輕利行 [zhong yi qing li xing])." 《莊子 [zhuang zi]．庚桑楚 [geng sang chu]》: "Those who do evil in broad daylight (之中 [zhi zhong]), people can punish them (人得而誅之 [ren de er zhu zhi])."
