析智 [xi zhi]—Xi Zhi — [Term] The wisdom that analyzes all phenomena of the Hinayana (小乘諸法 [xiao cheng zhu fa]) to contemplate their emptiness (空性 [kong xing]). The Fahua Xuanyi (Profound Meaning of the Lotus Sutra), Volume 3, states: "One contemplates the phenomena of the Twelve Links of Dependent Origination (十二因緣 [shi er yin yuan]) within the realm of existence by means of Xi Zhi."
析智—【術語】分析小乘諸法而觀空性之智也。法華玄義三曰:「以析智觀界內十二因緣事。」
[shù yǔ] fēn xī xiǎo chéng zhū fǎ ér guān kōng xìng zhī zhì yě. fǎ huá xuán yì sān yuē: “yǐ xī zhì guān jiè nèi shí èr yīn yuán shì.”

錫紙 [xī zhǐ] [xi zhi]—
Generally refers to paper coated with a thin layer of tin, or thin sheets made of tin. It is non-toxic, and therefore can be used as a protective packaging material for food and tobacco.

From 'Book of the Later Han (後漢書 [hou han shu]), Volume 43 (卷四三 [juan si san]), Biography of Zhu Hui (朱暉傳 [zhu hui chuan])': 'Your humble servant (臣 [chen]) wishes to have my head branded (黥首 [qing shou]) and my feet shackled, to replace Mu (穆 [mu]) in performing forced labor (校作 [xiao zuo]).'
