烏來 [wū lái] [wu lai]—
A place name. It belongs to Wulai District (區 [qu]), New Taipei City, located in the upper reaches of the Xindian River (新店溪 [xin dian xi]), and is inhabited by the Tayal people (泰耶族 [tai ye zu]). It is famous for its hot springs and waterfalls and is a popular tourist destination in the suburbs of Taipei.
