握雨攜雲 [wò yǔ xié yún] [wo yu xie yun]—
A metaphor for the joyful union of a man and a woman. See also the entry for "攜雲握雨 [xie yun wo yu]" (xié yún wò yǔ - carrying clouds and holding rain). Yuan Dynasty, Wang Shifu, Romance of the West Chamber, Act 4, Scene 2: "Only if you go at night and come back in the morning, there will be a long and lasting relationship. It's not worth your (wò yǔ xié yún - holding rain and carrying clouds), constantly making me anxious."
