Vṛttaparṇi (वृत्तपर्णि) is another name for Mahāsitā, an unidentified medicinal plant, according to verse 4.69-70 of the 13th-century Raj Nighantu or Rājanighaṇṭu. The fourth chapter (śatāhvādi-varga) of this book enumerates eighty varieties of small plants (pṛthu-kṣupa). Together with the names Vṛttaparṇi and Mahāsitā, there are a total of five Sanskrit synonyms identified for this plant.
