Vṛttamuktāhārastuti (वृत्तमुक्ताहारस्तुति) is the name of a work ascribed to Kṛṣṇabrahmatantra Parakālasvāmin (1839-1916 C.E.), the 31st pontiff of Śrī Brahmatantra Svatantra Parakāla Mutt who belonged to the Hosadurgam family. Kṛṣṇabrahmatantra has composed 67 works and died in 1916 C.E. Also see the “New Catalogus Catalogorum” IV. p. 333.

The Vṛttamuktāhārastuti is published with an auto commentary from Mysore in 1911; probably soon after the completion of the work. The work consists of 60 verses and deals with 53 metres. The author prays the almighty Lord Hayagrīva in the first and last verse respectively. He highlights his authorship on the work in three verses; the time of the composition of the work, purpose of the composition described in one verse each. Kṛṣṇabrahmatantra-Parakālasvāmin’s purpose of the composition of the work is meant for the beginners of Sanskrit readers.
